Internal communication is that information addressed to the personnel of the company itself. It responds to corporate needs to motivate the human team, involving its workers in business objectives, which is why it is a key strategic tool.
Despite its proven usefulness, there are still many companies that do not make convenient use of this aspect to generate employee identification and loyalty, ignoring their great value in increasing competitiveness.
However, internal communication must be controlled to produce positive results, knowing what the message is and how it should be transmitted, since poor communication that leads to poor interpretations can be negative. Thus, the internal communication policy must avoid the spread of destructive external rumors on sensitive issues such as personnel cuts, bankruptcies or alliances, which undermine the morale of employees.
